We are not monsters
You scream, you shout, you fight
For the reasons so silly
We play, we cuddle, we love
For seasons, we are silly.
Who's the monster? I asked
The one who's chained or the one
Who chains others?
They come armed with whips and sticks,
And calls us animal and beat us until we are sick.
When you were little
We were buddies for life,
Now since you had grown up
I'm just an animal bound to be tied.
